Early life:
Sriya did her schooling at Good Shepherd Convent, Chennai.When she was a child, cricketers Ravi Shastri and Sandeep Patil visited their home and complimented her good voice.
Career
Shriya started her career after winning the VJ hunt by Southern Spice Music, and started hosting Connect and Phonetastic. She became more popular on Southern Spice music making her familiar among young viewers.
She started her career through a Malayalam film Black. She had acted a number of films in Malayalam and Tamil. Her last release was Veyyil.
Personal life
Shriya married Tamil producer Vikram Krishna in March 2008. He is the son of veteran film producer G.K.Reddy and brother of actor Vishal Krishna.
